Holiday week #3. *sniff*

You'd think, after allll the rotting I had faced for a whole friggin' six months, the next holiday that comes up right after about, only less than a month of studying, I would pass out and say, "Hold it right there!"

I think, I can never, EVER, get tired of holidays, officially. Duh.

That is of course, if you have plans to carry out la. (:

So here's what I did this week:

Finished painted my bedroom! Ain't it pretty? :D

Got a picture to hang up, for the mo'. The walls are so blank, I'm filling them up. This picture is when I was, 5? I found it so lovely.

Spotted two eagles, which are really rare for a city sighting.

Bought a HUGE oven,

And baked muffins in it!

They are a little moist in texture, but I got the flavour right.

Rejoicing in my victory.

And that is the story of my holiday weeks. It was productive and real fun! Unfortunately I'm not gonna have holidays like these anytime soon... A-levels doesn't allow room for that.

Lets see how college can compensate for that, and I'll let you know about it soon.

God bless!

Holiday week #2.

This week consists of:

The dawn of a new God's committee!

A trip to CF; (this is Xin Wei, a blooming blog star,)

Snapping memories with the boy music genius whose about to leave for UK at the end of the month;

Meeting Elaine,

And just having plain good camwhoring fun.

I tried the best foods of the week; on your right is Cantonese fried kuey teow/noodles in egg sauce. You have to be particular about the egg sauce as the best is just wonderful like you wanna slurp in down and eat on it alone. As for its kuey teow, it has to be soft enough for you to accidentally swallow by mistake and not choke-that kind of consistency.

Painted my toilet. I've never realised just how DIY a person I can be.

Went to Jaeson Ma's concert/rally.

And I took some pictures that I somehow am fascinated with.

I think it gives a kind of, intimate, delicate, personal feel. Heh. It would be different if its in monotonal shades though.

My hair was looking good that day, so.

See you the end of the week, then I'll see you every weekend after that.

Bye! (:

Holiday week #1.

I'll do a mostly picture spam here, with captions. (: This week is, all in all, fulfilling. (:

I made my own dress! :DDDDD

Click for a closer peek. It's fish babies!!!! They're oh so tiny and always bustling around. I have a personal favourite cuz its the only fish baby that has a black tipped tail. I have yet to name it. Any ideas?

A catchup that I desperately needed, what with not seeing Audrey for months.

Another catchup with my neighbour's dog.

Then on Friday, I dropped by Christian Fellowship in school, another place full of people I haven't seen for months.

Kenneth, being the macho big-bro.

The boys; dan, mon, mel, and christian.

Kids having a fun time at the afternoon recess meeting.

Saturday: Bible Knowledge Quiz. It always freaks students out because in the finals of the Oral Quiz,
the finalists have to be onstage to answer questions. Really, tough questions. So I've never attended a single oral quiz in 5 years of secondary school life mainly because should I (trying to be clever here) get to the finals, I don't think I would ever be capable to climb the stage. So anyways, here are a few shots I took during the whole thing:

The worship team from my college; the worshippers/contestants; me and ernie.

And on that day, I finally learnt how to play Monopoly Deal. It was a first-hate for me, only because I screw up badly. (: But all in all, its a little more fun than the boardgame. (:

Having fun with Chemistry (:

Ramadhan feast. Look forward to it every year. (:

Sunday; Dim Sum brunch. (;

Jaya 33's Oriental Pavilion is although wallet-burning, it's worth every dime you spend. Because, I think almost EVERYTHING you order, is seriously good.

To end on a final note/picture, do admire my Charles & Keith flats! Do you like it? I'm really proud and adoring of them. Best of all, they're incredibly comfortable and do not bite your ankles. And its such a unique color too.

Ah, happy happy joy joy. ((((((((: Oh, please listen to Katy Perry's Not Like The Movies. Its such an unconventional song, I fell in love at first...Sound.

Ta, see you at the end of the week.

Notice (:

For these 3 weeks of the holidays, I'll be posting up only 3 posts, each a summation of one week, because...

...I'm not bothered to post so much. :/ I hope you guys will be patient at my insincerity. (:

I hope that these posts will be long, because I have projects and outings planned ahead! Hopefully, they come to plan and eventually happen lah.

Enjoy your coming weekend.

Love, Candice.

Picture perfect memories.

This Sunday morning when I got dressed for church, I went, "Hey!!!"

Here's why:

it must be a, father-daughter thing. (:

fingers, crossed.

Back after a pretty long break, college got me so busy i couldn't stop to go online. As a result, my blog is dusty, i lost touch. But you readers keep me going, if it weren't for you guys i would've stopped, cuz it looks like i'm talking to myself/a wall sometimes. seems that way to you too?

College is pretty much the sole topic should i talk about my life. What to do, where/what/who/when else do you spend time/do stuff at/ hang around mostly, right? So, my social circle revolves mostly duh, around campus.

FORTUNATELY, here comes the holidays!:D

I don't know if you follow the chronology of my college life (no one would because no one is that obsessed), but just to let you know, i've just studied for less than a month. Unbelievable, right? I didn't like it initially, but since i found out plans to do for 3 weeks, and the megasale is coinciding with the time i have, things started getting alot better.

And of course, not studying is obviously out of the question! I've already made a covenant to myself that i cannot/shall not slack like last year. I refuse to be cynical, just be constantly how i am right now.

Would you wanna know what are my plans for the holidays? (:

I'll say it alright?

  • I've always wanted to paint my house. Starting with the washrooms, they're gonna get peeling and molding in a few years time, so i might as well start renewing them. I've always wanted to paint like a, calming color, like um, azure/sea blue? Maybe just maybe, everyone will be constipation free? :D Any suggestions for colors? Please don't start with beige. Its too plain. What dyou think of pale jade? My washrooms' ceramics are light pink and gray respectively.
  • I don't know whether am I gonna duly stick to this schedule, but 1 subject a week for studying. That way I don't cram everything or get mixed up, I get ample time to read everything I've learnt thoroughly. (Do bear in mind I did just set my mind to nerd mode recently and am keen on holding on to that mindset. So do bear with me when I start talking revision and homework.)
  • I didn't set a goal on how much weight do I wanna lose in 3 weeks, but I just wanna look good. I think, I'm getting chubbier and chubbier by the day! So, swimming is my plan, because I am not bothered with sports that comes with the gravity pull. Too tiring.
  • SHOPPING OF COURSE. I am in need for denim shorts and more t-shirts. Getting dressed for college is a bit draining, I am not like girls who can dress for the runway every single day. How is that even possible? Its not about how many clothes or how much money, its the brain energy needed to pair and match. Honestly you use up more brain energy if you have even more clothes. So in conclusion, if that kind of girl who can cope with so much for every single morning and she's not smart.... she is probably too tired for studying. (But anyways, I suddenly think to myself that getting yourself dressed really appropriately is a good idea for a brain exercise, after all.)
  • Catchup. I did a recap of my new found friends mentally, and to my amazement God is really amazing. There's no one like my besties at all. There's no one to spurt random sentences, or laugh at anything like Xinwei. There's no one who shares perverted jokes beyong belief, or be as lame as Erina. There's no one who suddenly bursts into song, or makes you laugh by seeing her laugh at things she would only laugh about like Elaine. And finally, there's no one who's as cute and understanding as Audrey.

Oh and btw, congratulations on the launch of Yellow Umbrella, Elaine! You guys are on a real good start. I'll be supporting you guys always. (:

And...that should be it for now. I guess I'll be blogging more frequently as usual. Have lots and lots of days with love and hope, alright?
