Funny how

when I want to talk to you

I'm not able to say anything more, 

than how much you mean to me

which is something I'm afraid to say,

but I've not got much anything else

that would be of interest to you;

given that, you are not interested

in the junk I would say

mostly about myself

since that is the topic I would know best.

But when I say that I feel like

I'm not saying it correctly,

because when your eyes do not stray away

when our conversation got interrupted

I felt, for a small moment, just for that instant,

maybe you did like me too.

Along with many other moments

my instinct either would lead or betray me.

So unless you take steps forward,

I'm not moving anywhere,

if that is helpful

that I'm not turning away

just yet,

but for now,

I'm staying put.

Not Like The Movies

One of the many advices that gave me a lift was, of all people, Katy Perry. Listen to the song. Its one of her loveliest songs, with lyrics that really motivate better than Firework, I would say.

All too often its the movies and chick lits that wove a fictional fairytale without our hearts constantly guarding it against. We forget to be real, that relationships actually comes with chunks of anger and hurt. These are emotions strung along with Love.

Maybe we give up too easily. Or maybe we can't take it anymore. Anyway...

I didn't feel that fairytale feeling, no.
