Gritting my teeth, squinting my eyes.

I want to ask you a question, would you wear what everybody's wearing?

I think you know my answer to my question.

I absolutely AVOID&DESTEST following whatever's hawt on the catwalk/advertisements/magazines.*

Take the hot 'in' beige/sand/honey/mustard/brown leather bag/satchel for example:

I used to want it since I saw my aunt's when I was 15 or something.
Now everyone's wearing it, ugh! I didn't want that anymore.

Next. The classic black ballet flats.

They're so versatile, stylish, and classic too!
But because everyone's wearing that, ugh! I didn't want that too.
So, I got myself a blue pair, cutouts, in fact.

Coming up, floral dresses.

This was starting to heat up since last year.
But now, everyone's wearing one ever since I wanted to get my hands on it.
Justttt when I wanted to look more unique.

I even used to have the hots for the black framed glasses.
yknow, the ones that make you super intellectual looking one.
But because now, everyone's wearing it, ugh! I abandoned plan of having one.
Instead, I opted for Ribena-coloured ones instead.
Looks funkier, no?

So for now, I'm very into blazers and pencil skirts, and that is already starting to get very popular in the market too.

And in case your wondering, I reallyreally don't like copying styles, and having people wearing almost the same things as I do.

I'm currently scouring for really indie, hard-to-find stuff, so I can have at least pieces that are unique, and can last for decades.

Because, honestly? Gladiators are overrated. Fedoras are getting much too plain for my liking. Wayfarers are getting much too overworn. And cardigans? Oh mannnnnnn.

Stuff that I'm currently lusting after:

  1. Sand/Nude/Beige/Honey coloured strappy chunky heels, preferbly in either leather or suede. Chunky heels because I can't balance on stillettoes yet.
  2. And on second thought, I don't mind booties too.

  3. Anything chiffon. I like them best on dresses.
  4. Anything leopard. They never go out of fashion.
  5. Jumpsuits! They're slimming, give an androgynous and futuristic yet elegant and stylish feel. Thank God I haven't seen many wearing that yet.
  6. I lovelove the plain tee and jeans combination. The right brand, the perfect fit can instantly give you an uplift. Oh, and more posh.

Wah. I wanna go shopping wei! (:

* I only love the pencil skirt and blazer thats in trend now.
