I'm going out early in the morn to walk the walk! Haha. First, ask Daddy to drop me&mum at Bukit Bintang, walk til' our toes drop off, then take an lrt to Sentul, then walk all the way home! Phew! I can feel the energy sapping out of me already! When I can walk around KL like a pro, imma bring PJ friends along, to show that actually, KL is no different than PJ. hahahahha.
...
so as a KL-ian, actually do i even qualify? i'm just a girl who lives in KL, eat KL food for dinner most of the time, but studied in a PJ school for 4 years. how do you dub someone as a KL-ian anyways? someone who practices the culture? what culture does KL people have anyways? i can contradict you if you say KL-ians are lala, actually.
i don't think i'm a pure KL-ian at heart though. nearly all my friends are living in PJ and i spend most of my time there during schooling days, and many of them ask me what is the difference with the life in KL compared to PJ. and everytime i ponder: what difference? i really can't draw a clear line to divide these supposedly two-worlds-apart cities.
however, here's a thing or two i've noticed about them:
KL has unorganized land plans (that's the best word i can come up with my poor english vocab), meaning that infrastructures are builit scattered over the whole place. you can have a shoplot, then a house beside it, and then an assortment of buildings here and there. that's because KL is an older city than PJ, so the latter has land plans organized neatly, all types of buildings stay in the same group in one place.
KL has wide diversities, i'm talking in terms of safety aspects and social classes. you get the downtowns and places like Mont Kiara and Bangsar. you should see the housing area near KLCC and Mt Kiara, fuiyo. (btw, Jimmy Choo has a house at M.K) the place where i live is considered moderately average, perhaps a little lower, but i never had any safety problems though.
oh, i think KL has better landscapes than PJ; no, yes, no? (: at my condo i have a constant panoramic full view of the KL tower and Twin Towers, and other glittering city lights as well. but i know PJ has its perks too, lah.
but i kinda wish i lived in PJ sometimes, cuz the malls at DU are something different. PJ also gives that kind of townish feel, not much hustle and bustle though there are traffic jams.
...
ok, i think something is wrong. why am i talking about cities? its so boring right? i need to get a life man.
:/
...
oh and btw, i'm on the hunt looking for a vacant job, that is to be a music teacher! since i'm qualified for it, why not put my 'talents' to use right? i may not be excellent, but at least i'm better than a Grade 1-er right? right.
haha, i can imagine those timid little things, all shy shy, being taught music, with trembly hands on the keys. (:
we'll be such good BFs.
i'll volunteer to be their life coach, even. yknow, tell them what issues they might have to deal with when they're all grown up. i'll tell girls about boys, and boys on how to treat a girl right instead of pulling their hair and whatnot.
ngeh. we'll see by then.
